Room Description

Welcome to our wonderful Toddler room that is designed to provide endless opportunities for learning and exploration. With a welcoming atmosphere, open space layout, and free flow access to the garden, our little ones have plenty of space to move around and discover new things indoors and outdoors.

We follow the Birth to 5 Matters curriculum, which covers all 7 areas of development. Our curriculum is designed to support the physical, emotional, communication and language development of each individual toddler.

The room has a wonderful layout that offers space for different areas of play. We have a construction area, a cozy book corner, a role play area, and a space for creativity. We also have our tuff trays for messy play activities and exploration. This provides our toddlers with a range of different activities that they can choose from, in order to develop their interests and skills whilst meeting their individual needs.

We have a slightly more structured routine in our toddler room, which supports our little ones as they grow in independence. Our aim is to motivate our children to try new things and enjoy different experiences, whilst building their confidence and self-esteem.

Our activities are planned around the children’s interests and their next steps. We take the time to get to know each individual child, creating special bonds with them. Your child will have their own key person, who will help them grow and develop, build on their confidence and help them with their fine and gross motor skills. Our staff promote good positive behaviour, helping each child to develop important social skills.

We understand that toddlers are full of energy and curiosity, and our toddler room has been designed to provide the best experiences and opportunities. Our engaging activities bring new challenges, that help our little ones to learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
